‘Get Prom ready’ with this free downloadable PDF

Where have the years gone? These three have been friends since primary school and somehow I must have blinked and now they’re all grown up. Mid way through their GCSE’s and then on to another phase at college they are another step closer to adulthood.

I’ll be honest, we left the dress shopping a little late. Luckily, in researching suppliers for the recent Prom shoot we discovered Dress To Go in Botley. With a stunning array of dresses and expert advise as to what would suit style and colour-wise within our budget my daughter has THE dress. She couldn’t be more delighted!

I was surprised at how easily we found accessories too. A simple clutch – which had to be large enough to hold her mobile phone of course, and shoes to match. Essential for her fitting as the dress needed adjusting, including it’s length to suit the height of her shoes and now fits her like a glove.

We’ve booked Sian from the Green Room to style her prom hair and Ashley Odey for make-up. We had the pleasure of working with them on the prom shoot at the Kings Theatre so it absolutely made sense to book them again. They are so skilled in listening to their clients ideas, taking into account their dress style and individual likes/dislikes. As a result they create the most stunning looks that their clients love. I really can’t recommend them enough.

As Prom approaches I’ve put together this pdf complete with expert tips from all the suppliers I worked with to help you ‘Get Prom Ready’. Including tips to choose your dress and how to stay in love with it leading up to your prom. Hair styling tips including what to wear when you’re having your hair styled. And importantly, tricks to make the style and your make up last all night long. Finally, discover the latest make up colour trends and how to strike your red carpet pose for those photographs.

Personally, I feel left out. We didn’t have proms when we left school – I think I’ll organise a ball next year for all the parents so that we get a chance to get dressed up too!! Anyone interested?
