Where will my session be held?
During planning we’ll explore options and select a location that reflects your style and personality perfectly.
Whether it’s your home, a boutique hotel, the beach, the forest or an urban location we’ll find a match!
How far in advance should I book?
6-8 weeks allow time for that all important cusomisation of your session. Do get in touch for last minute availability if you are tight on time.
Dates are released on a seasonal/quarterly basis, so if you have a specific time in mind, get in touch to be the first to hear when these become available.
Are there any additional costs?
Booking a hair and makeup artist isn’t essential although a pamper is a lovely add-on to your experience, as well as being confidence boosting as the right makeup artist will ensure you are camera ready with a fresh, natural look.
Consider booking an indoor location for session if your home or workplace doesn’t suit the lifestyle images you’re looking to create. I can recommend a variety of locations from rustic to contemporary, country and seaside locations as part of the planning process.
Travel is charged at an additional rate of £0.50 per mile + £35 p/hr for travel over 30 mins from Porstmouth. A personal quote for travel will be included in your session.
What should I wear?
Select your outfits based on your style, chosen location, the season and potentailly the occassion.
During your pre-session consultation we’ll discuss wardrobe options whether for individuals or groups and, if needed, I can put you in touch with a great stylist.
What happens in the event of bad weather?
Living in the UK this is a reasonable concern! However, it’s not essential to have bright sunlight – in fact, cloudy conditions provide a far more flattering light and enable a lot more flexibility during the session in terms of where the pictures are taken.
Consider locations with an indoor option as a contingency if your session is time dependant.
If you really need outdoor shots we can book a back-up date and can reschedule in the event it is pouring, it’s snowing or conditions would be uncomfortable.
I'm awkward infront of the camera - can you help?
Firstly you’re not alone and I get it (there’s a reason I’m behind the lens!). I’ll provide guidance and gentle direction throughout your session to make sure you’re comfortable so we can create those gorgeous relaxed images you are after.
Where can I use my images?
All packages include print and use release.
During your consultation we’ll discuss how you intend to use your images as we can tailor them for their intended final purposes.
Whether that’s family images displayed around the home or images which are destined for your socials, pr or magazine useage.
What are your payment terms?
In order to secure your session date and to start customising it a non returnable fee is due on booking. Any balance will be due a minimum of 14 days prior to your session . (This will vary depending how long in advance you book and the session you choose).
Payments for any products not included in your session package will be due on ordering (usually 2-3 weeks after your session) – so there’s no need to choose right away.
