TEEN & TWEEN SESSIONS
The tween and teen years. A time of hopes, dreams and aspirations as your child transitions from childhood to adulthood. I know you are only too aware of how time has passed far too quickly and how every snatched moment with your teen seems even more precious than ever. Professional photography provides an opportunity for them to enjoy a confidence-boosting experience, making them feel fantastic about themselves whilst creating gorgeous images for you to look back at with pride and fondness for years to come.
My sessions are relaxed and fun so they allow your teen’s true personality and interests to shine through. As a mum of two teenagers myself, I’ll provide gentle guidance before and throughout the session ensuring even the most camera shy feel confident and excited about their photographs -by simply being themselves.

What precautions are taken in relation to Covid-19
Obviously this is a concern. On arrival at your session, please don’t think me rude as we will need to greet each other from a distance and this will need to be maintained throughout the session. I have a long enough lens to enable to me to ensure your images are just as lovely but not too long – so you can still hear me guiding your through the session!

Will you help me choose what to wear
Absolutely! Your questionnaire will help me understand a little bit more about your style and personality. This will help shape the ‘look’ of your session whether it’s casual, sporting or glam – whatever makes you feel comfortable and fabulous.
Your session also allows for a couple of outfit changes so you can feature different elements of your personality, includings sports kit, dancewear or a contrasting look.
Can I bring a friend
To ensure your session is truly about you the main focus is you. However, I recognise how important friendship is during your teen years so if you’d like to bring a friend along with you for a bit of support they are welcome to be included in a handful of your images if you wish.
Can you help with hair and make up
Hair and make up can bring confidence and individuality to a session – but it’s not essential. It’s about what you and your daughter are comfortable with and I am more than happy to share details of some wonderful hair and make up artists if you wish.
How will I choose a location
As part of your session preparation we’ll look at where you like to spend your time as you’re likely to be most comfortable there. We’ll consider available lighting at the location as this may also determine the best time of day for us to meet to create your images.

PRICING
Your session fee secures your session date and includes a 1.5 hour tween and teen photography session within 20 miles of Portsmouth, creating 20 professionally edited images for your selection. In addition, it covers pre-session consultation including styling advice, location selection and preparation tips to help you get the most from your session.
