This family are about to enjoy their first Christmas as a family of five – I can’t believe where this year has gone! It was in the Spring that this gorgeous family contact me to discuss updating their family pictures. Children have a habit of growing and changing so quickly I suggested some individual pictures of the girls and, with another addition to the family on the way a few ‘bump’ pictures to document the excitement and anticipation of her arrival. I created a customised session incorporating two individual shoots – with the first session date on Mother’s Day weekend which seemed so fitting for a maternity session.
We met at one of the family’s favourite locations – Alice Holt Forest . The morning had started overcast but on arrival the sun broke through and I got busy photographing the family shots before the girls took some time out to enjoy a snack and cuddles with Dad whilst Tamsin and I captured the precious bump shots. We finished up with some portrait shots of the girls whilst they chattered away telling me all about their plans they had for when their new Sister arrived. A few weeks later she made her appearance and I headed back to their home to document those early days as a family of five. There’s a whole heap of cuteness and love in these pictures wouldn’t you agree?
